Complying with CMS Final Rules by Reconciling Provider Affiliation, Breaking Down Silos and Improving Data Quality
Information
Mississippi Medicaid faced a problem when working towards Data Interoperability for the CMS Final Rules: too many silos of disparate data and a non-accurate provider file. Mississippi worked with Progress MarkLogic to reconcile Provider linkage and affiliation, thereby cleaning and re-building an accurate provider master file. Mississippi then worked with Progress MarkLogic on breaking down silos of data, cleaning the data, developing data governance, and building a FHIR-ready Operational Data Store (ODS) for all its data to be shared in compliance with the CMS Final Rules . Mississippi and Progress MarkLogic will be prepared to talk about the process and impact of these projects as Mississippi works to clean up the Provider Master File and the supporting data, as well as demonstrate these results.
